Online appointment booking and my results now available across Ontario

LifeLabs is pleased to announce the expansion of online appointment bookings and my results – a portal providing free and easy access for individuals to their lab results – to all 229 patient service centres (PSC) across Ontario. These easy-to-use tools are responding to the busy lives of Ontarians and their families to help better connect them to their health care services and information – and they are free.

“my results and online appointment bookings are two of the ways that LifeLabs is helping Canadians access lab testing services and obtain quick and personalized information about their test results,” said Sue Paish, CEO of LifeLabs. “We know how important it is for busy families to have quick and effective access to lab testing and to their health information. LifeLabs is committed to making sure that every Ontarian gets the diagnostic testing they need as a critical part of an effective healthcare plan.”

LifeLabs operates 229 patient service centres in 103 communities across Ontario. While appointment bookings and my results have been offered in some locations across the province, LifeLabs has expanded these services to all its Ontario PSCs.

Online appointment booking is available 24/7 through where Ontarians can book an appointment at a preferred PSC.

my results enables people to view most lab results within 24-28 hours of testing and helps to keep people informed about their health while better preparing them for discussions with their health care providers. Developed by Excelleris Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of LifeLabs, my results is the only free online access to lab results in Ontario.

“Exemplary care has been, and will always be, our number one priority,” said Paish. “Expanding these essential tools highlights this commitment and is just one of the many ways we are able to respond to our customers’ needs.”
